The 10-day festival encompasses a variety of events ranging from music and drama, the arts and heritage to rowing races, triathlons and walks.Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week has grown into the largest sailing regatta in the south west with more than 450 yachts racing over eight days, and a lively programme of shoreside events.
Falmouth International Sea Shanty (15th - 17th June)
This festival allows the public the opportunity to enjoy this traditional nautical music and song. Various Shanty Groups from across the county will perform at venues along the waterfront including many of the local pubs. Most venues are free.
J Class Regatta 26th - 30th June
The J Class Association is pleased to announce outline plans for a series of spectacular regattas in England during 2012 - the Olympic Year. This will be the first time in history that more than four of these imposing yachts will race together in a fleet.
The first regatta will be based in Falmouth, Cornwall, hosted by the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club. Races will be held in the bay and along the coastline.
The event will also have a full entertainments programme that will complement 4 days of competitive racing, giving owners and crews a chance to enjoy a “proper Cornish experience”, allowing them to enjoy Falmouth and its beautiful surroundings
RNLI Dragon Boat Challenge 22 July
Dragon Boating first came to Falmouth in 1984 and was run by the local Rotary Club until the RNLI took over the running of the event five years ago. Today over 40 teams compete together on the water in Falmouth Harbour raising money for the RNLI so that its volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards can continue to save lives around our Cornish Coast.
Air Day will be action-packed from start to finish. As fast jets and military aircraft zoom across the skies, budding aviators and those who once dreamt of flying can experience at first-hand life inside one of Europe’s largest helicopter bases.

Falmouth Oyster Festival (11th -14th Oct)
Timed to coincide with the start of the oyster harvesting season, this annual festival celebrates one of the last remaining oyster fisheries to dredge under sail and oar. The festival has a fantastic atmosphere with free cookery demonstrations, oyster tasting, local craft and produce markets and a working boat race.
Camra Real Beer Festival
Real beer festival at The Princess Pavilions up to 160 ales and lots of cider and perry.
